Introducing
Royal cashmere
We use only Royal Cashmere for our knitwear. Grades of cashmere are often measured by the fibre length but we also grade by the diameter. Meaning that we require super fine and long fibres to be spun into yarn. We work with Consinee, China's leading vertical mill in cashmere production which supplies to many luxury brands globally. Vertical mils are efficient but also ensure that every stage of production is executed with care and transparency.
While there is no official regulated standard or certifications specifically for cashmere, we go above and beyond to ensure the safety and quality of our materials. All the cashmere used in our knitwear meets the OEKO-TEX 100 standard, meaning our cashmere is rigorously tested to be free from any harmful toxins or chemicals, ensuring it is safe for both you and the environment.
Enjoy the gentle warmth and refined elegance of our knitwear, perfect for both crisp winter days and cool summer evenings.
/ Take good care of your cashmere
With these simple care steps, your royal cashmere will remain as elegant and luxurious as the day you first wore it.
Our cashmere pieces are meant to be cherished additions to your wardrobe for many years. We place great importance on caring for your investment, and to support you in this, each purchase from The Curated includes a cashmere comb and cedar balls. These extras will help you maintain the quality and longevity of your new pieces.
There are several ways to keep your cashmere looking its best. Rather than frequent washing, let your pieces air out between wears to maintain their quality.
However, there is no problem in gently hand washing it in cool water with a mild detergent. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric; instead, press out excess water and lay it flat on a towel to air dry.
Store your knitwear in a cool, dry place, using breathable garment bags or cotton covers to protect it from dust and moths.
